This Cookie Policy explains how VO2 Labs, LLC ("VO2 Labs," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Harlen landing page and web application at harlen.ai (collectively, the "Site").
This Cookie Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Note: The Harlen iOS mobile application does not use cookies, web beacons, advertising identifiers, or any similar tracking technologies. This Cookie Policy applies only to our website and web application.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to help website operators understand how their sites are being used.
Similar technologies — including local storage, session storage, and pixels — work in comparable ways. References to "cookies" in this Policy include these similar technologies.
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
2. How we use cookies
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data for advertising. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.
We use cookies only for the following purposes:
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the Site to function and cannot be turned off. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as logging in, filling out a form, or setting your preferences. Examples:
- Authentication cookies that keep you logged in to your Coach account
- Security cookies that prevent fraud and abuse
- Cookies that remember your form inputs across page loads
- Load-balancing cookies that route traffic across our infrastructure
You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies; without them, the Site does not work.
2.2 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. They tell us things like which pages are most visited, how users navigate between pages, and where errors occur. The data is used only to improve our product and is not shared with advertisers.
We may use analytics services such as Vercel Analytics or similar privacy-respecting tools. These services are configured to collect aggregated usage data only.
You can opt out of analytics cookies through your browser settings or through the cookie controls on the Site (where available).
2.3 Preference cookies
These cookies remember choices you make, such as your language, timezone, or display preferences, so you don't have to set them again on your next visit.
3. What we do NOT use
To be explicit, we do not use:
- Advertising cookies of any kind
- Cross-site tracking pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, LinkedIn Insight Tag — none of these are deployed on the Site)
- Data broker integrations
- Cookies that sell or share personal information under California, Washington, or other state privacy laws
- Cookies in the Harlen iOS mobile application (the mobile app uses no tracking technologies of any kind)
4. App tracking and data sharing
Is the data collected by the app shared with any third-party data brokers?
No. We do not share, sell, or transfer data collected by the app to data brokers.
Is the data collected by the app linked with third-party data for marketing or advertising purposes?
No. We do not link data collected by the app with third-party data for marketing or advertising. The app contains no advertising identifiers, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party analytics SDKs, and we do not use the data for advertising of any kind.
When users access web content in the app, are cookies collected for tracking purposes by the app or service?
No. The mobile app does not use cookies or any similar tracking technologies. Links open in the device's system browser; any cookies that linked web content sets are strictly necessary and are not used for tracking.
5. Third-party cookies
Our Site is hosted on Vercel, which may set strictly necessary cookies to deliver and secure the Site. Our payment processor, Stripe, sets cookies on subscription and billing pages to prevent fraud and complete transactions. These cookies are governed by the respective providers' privacy practices:
- Vercel: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Stripe: stripe.com/privacy
Aside from the above, we do not knowingly permit third-party cookies on the Site.
6. Your choices
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or be notified before cookies are placed. See your browser's help documentation for instructions. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair Site functionality.
- "Do Not Track": Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry standard for how websites should respond to this signal, and we do not currently respond to it. Because we do not engage in cross-site tracking or sale of data for advertising, this should have no practical effect on your privacy.
- California, Washington, and similar state privacy rights: Because we do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no opt-out required under these laws. If you have questions about your rights, see our Privacy Policy or contact hello@harlen.ai.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or law. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last Updated" date.
